The Veit Family is a long time resident of the Fox Valley. Cindy Veit, owner of NEW FLAG, LLC, and is the proud mother of the boys in her family. She is the loving wife to her husband, Bill. She has a passion for Boy Scouting, Irish Setters and Flags.

A few years ago it became evident to Cindy that something needed to be done about the condition of some of the flags she was seeing around her community. With daily travels around the area in her sales position, she noticed more and more flags in need. As she started to talk to residential and corporate flag owners, she started to understand, as one person put it, "the hassle of replacing the flag." Cindy never considered taking care of the flag to be anything other than an honor or an act of pride.

So, she set out "to take the hassle out" of taking care of the flags and flagpoles in the area.

• She found that some people do not think about the flag they have flying they do not even notice it even though they may walk by it a few times each day!
• People do not know how to replace a flag.
• Citizens do not know how or where to properly dispose of a flag.
• People do not know how to replace a flag.
• It is out of their way to go buy another flag. It is an afterthought.
• They do not know who to call. (Hint: 920-851-7805).
• Sometimes the person who put up the flag/ flag pole is no longer at the residence or company.
• Individuals sometimes get frustrated with the number of times they had to replace the lower quality flags.
• People were looking for flags certified Made in America.

Being involved with the Boy Scouts helped Cindy learn how important it is to help the youth learn about the pride and honor that go with respecting the flag. It has been important to teach the Scouts that the flag is a living thing representing our living nation, The United States of America.

NEW FLAG, LLC was started to help people with their corporate image by respectfully keeping an eye on their flag for them. To provide high quality flags, flags that are made in America, and to help the public learn the basics of flag maintenance has been a blessing.
